National "GIT Your Pink On!" Day...

Elegant Motorcars is on a mission to help be a voice in our community to facilitate change to enrich the lives of ALL in our community. One way we do this is through The Get In Touch Foundation!

The Mission of The Get In Touch Foundation is to encourage gals of all ages to "Get In Touch" with their bodies, information, and each other in our crusade against breast cancer. The Get In Touch Girls Program & Daisy Wheel breast health initiative teaches girls in grades 5-12 the importance of, and how to do a breast self exam- for life. The Daisy Wheels are provided at no cost to schools! They are in 43 States and 16 countries! PA is a Get In Touch State (with Swain School, Lower Macungie Middle School, Easton Area Academy, Bethelehem School District, Harriton High School, and schools in Western PA enrolled) as a direct result of the first 2 Lehigh Valley Pretty In Pink Events, hosted in 2010 and 2011.

Another part of our program is reaching out to health networks, breast health centers, wellness communities. In the midst of a horrific time, giving daisy wheels to women being treated for breast cancer offers hope through helping others. 2 hospitals in CT sponsored daisy wheels and the response has been very positive and therapeutic.

Every $1 raised puts a daisy wheel (our empowering, life-saving educational tool) in the hands of one girl! At GIT, we say, "One $1 is One Daisy Wheel, One Daisy Wheel is One Girl & ONE Girl is the Whole World!
